The initial drafting phase of the project has already been approved, allowing for the specification of essential aspects such as the building's functional plan, its structural design, and the distribution of healthcare services. The basic project is expected to be approved this month, a crucial step before applying for the building permit.
The primary objective of this new infrastructure is to address the population growth in Riba-roja de Túria and the increased demand for healthcare, especially during certain times of the year. The center will offer a wide range of services to strengthen healthcare provision in the municipality.
Among the planned services, the Family Medicine area will feature 10 medical consultations and 10 nursing consultations. Meanwhile, Pediatrics will have three consultations and two pediatric nursing consultations. Additionally, a specific area with four rooms will be set up for extractions, treatments, and diagnostic tests, along with spaces for minor surgery.
The new facility will also include a Continuous Care Point, women's health services, a rehabilitation area with a gym, and a social work service. In total, the building will have an approximate constructed area of 3,025 square meters, significantly modernizing and expanding the local healthcare resources.
