The company Señalizaciones Roses SL, awarded the contract for road signage maintenance in Llíria, has commenced a repainting and vertical signage replacement campaign to bolster safety in the municipality.

This initiative, as explained by the Councillor for Sustainable Mobility, Paco García, is the pre-summer campaign, a period when the influx of visitors and second-home residents significantly increases in the Edetan locality, especially after the Easter holidays.
The council department has emphasized reinforcing road paint and installing vertical signage in areas where defects have been detected, signs have been broken due to accidents, or requests have been made by the Local Police or residents.
The planned actions will be carried out on the main entry and exit routes of the municipality, as well as on the axes that longitudinally and transversally connect the city and provide access to the main avenues and streets. Special attention has been given to pedestrian crossings and other road signage elements that improve accessibility and safety for pedestrians.

"The objective is to provide these environments with higher levels of road safety, visibility, and control during times when pedestrian movement and vehicular traffic significantly increase due to routine activity and population growth during the summer season."

The tasks will extend for several weeks, both day and night, which may affect traffic circulation on some streets while these maintenance works are carried out. These actions are performed on a programmed basis between March and October, with particular focus before summer and in September, ahead of the start of the school year.
