The Santa Pola City Council and the Ministry of Education are coordinating the temporary relocation of infant classrooms from Hispanidad school to the Logroño street park, next to the Silvia Martínez pavilion, while the process for constructing the new educational center continues.
The Education councilor met with officials from the Technical Unit of the Ministry, the school's management, and municipal technicians. They have supervised the planned relocation on site.
The project includes the temporary installation of 17 prefabricated modules on a plot next to the Ramón Cuesta school. Three Infant Education classrooms, a multipurpose room, and restrooms will be set up there to accommodate a total of 60 students.
The councilor noted that these actions are proceeding in parallel with the upcoming tender for the new educational center and future construction works. The City Council is awaiting authorization from the Ministry of Education to update the budget and tender the works for the new school.
This initiative aims to maintain educational activity while progress is made on the definitive renovation of the Hispanidad school facilities. The temporary relocation will free up the current plot and facilitate the development of the future educational project planned for the municipality.
