The highest authority of the Consell was received by the town's mayor, Lourdes Aznar Miralles, accompanied by members of the municipal government team and representatives of the Governing Board of Brotherhoods and Guilds of Crevillent's Holy Week.
Following the institutional reception, the entourage proceeded to the Church of the Holy Trinity, the starting point of the processional route. There, the president had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the various brotherhoods and the sculptural groups participating in this solemn procession.
Subsequently, the authorities moved to Blasco Ibáñez street to witness the parade, considered one of the most representative and multitudinous acts of Crevillent's Holy Week.
It is worth noting that Crevillent's Holy Week has been recognized as an International Tourist Interest Festival since 2011. This distinction highlights its uniqueness, deep tradition, and popular roots, as well as its ability to attract visitors and project the municipality's cultural identity beyond its borders.
