Elche CF goalkeeper, Matías Dituro, approaches the seven decisive matches remaining to secure permanence in LaLiga EA Sports with optimism and experience, starting next Wednesday against Atlético de Madrid at the Martínez Valero stadium.

Dituro, who will soon turn 39, has spoken to the media and expressed his confidence in the team's tools to achieve their goal. The player emphasized the importance of each match and the need to focus all energy on what depends on them, while also making his own assessments of the schedule.
The goalkeeper confessed his admiration for Atlético de Madrid coach, Diego Simeone, and for goalkeepers like Jan Oblak. He also commented on the rotations made by the Madrid team, understanding that they have important objectives such as the Champions League and the Copa del Rey.

"When I arrived, my goal was to leave a mark and achieve important things. It was very difficult to earn the affection of the people. With Sebastián (Beccacece) it didn't happen, but with Eder (Sarabia) we had a great campaign."

Regarding his continuity at Elche CF, Dituro confirmed that he has received offers from South America but has decided to stay with the Illicitan club. He stated that playing in Primera División in Spain is priceless and that his family is very happy in the city, a factor that heavily influenced his decision.
The goalkeeper also discussed the competition in goal with his teammates, highlighting an extraordinary relationship with Alejandro Iturbe and healthy competition with Iñaki Peña. He admitted that he has not always been at his best with his feet, but always tries to take advantage of the opportunities that arise.
Finally, he recalled a curious anecdote about a penalty saved from Vedat Muriqi, in which his son's advice was key to his decision. He concluded that, although he is preparing for a future as a coach, he is currently fully focused on his playing career.
