The Elche City Council, led by Mayor Pablo Ruz, today formalized the signing of seven annual collaboration agreements with agricultural entities in the municipality, totaling 138,000 euros.

The event, held in the plenary hall, was attended by the Councilor for Agriculture and Environment, José Antonio Román; the Councilor for Childhood, Family, and Seniors, Aurora Rodil; and the Councilor for Districts, Pedro José Sáez. Mayor Pablo Ruz emphasized the municipal government's commitment to the agricultural sector, recognizing its management and fundamental role for the city.
Ruz highlighted that "without Agriculture, Elche would not exist, nor would the economic strength of this city." He thanked the entities for their fight for the land and asked that their service continue to be an example to make the city "greater and, above all, more committed to the environment."

"This signing of agreements demonstrates the commitment of this government to all of you, who are the entities that manage, that teach us to love the land of Elche."
