These subsidies, ranging from 2,000 to 3,000 euros depending on hiring conditions, can be applied for starting the day after their publication in the Official Provincial Gazette (BOP) until August 31. Subsidized contracts must have been formalized between January 1, 2026, and the final date for submitting applications.

The main objective of this call is to strengthen employment stimulus policies in Elche, supporting both the hiring of unemployed people and the consolidation of stable jobs within the local economic fabric. It seeks to promote the labor insertion of groups with greater difficulties in accessing the job market.

In addition to employment aid, the Local Government Board has approved other measures. Among them, the awarding of the contract for the supply of 200 bulletproof, anti-knife, and anti-puncture vests for the Local Police stands out, with an amount of 121,000 euros and a duration of four years, to reinforce the agents' equipment.

Approval has also been given to initiate the process for awarding the renovation works for the planters in the Municipal Park Jardín Nieves Berenguer, on Obispo Barrachina Street. This project has a base budget of 160,425 euros and an execution period of three months. Likewise, the tender for a supply contract for the acquisition of artificial gravel and aggregates for the repair of public roads has been approved, with a budget of 150,000 euros and a duration of two years.

In support of the commercial and hospitality sector, the bases for a call for subsidies aimed at trade and hospitality associations in Elche have been approved, endowed with 40,000 euros and a maximum amount of 8,000 euros per association. These aids are intended to support digitalization, communication, and commercial revitalization activities during 2026, with an application period of 15 working days from their publication in the BOP.
