Crevillent residents can participate throughout June in a wide range of activities for the LGTBIQ+ Pride 2026 celebration, under the slogan “Today we celebrate Crevillent with Pride”. The aim is to promote respect, equality, and visibility for LGTBIQ+ individuals, as well as to advocate for achieved rights and those still to be attained.
The program includes the exhibition “LGTBIQ+ Memory in Alicante”, open until June 30th at the Centro Jove “Juan Antonio Cebrián”. This exhibition revisits part of the community's history and memory in the province, helping to give visibility to those who fought for freedom and equality for decades.
Among the activities already held is a Meditation and Energy Healing session on May 30th. Upcoming events include the placement of an Rainbow Point for awareness at the weekly market on Friday, June 12th, a Sexuality and Tuppersex Workshop on June 13th, a musical performance by “El Postre” on June 19th, and a film forum screening the movie Maspalomas on June 20th.
The central event will take place on June 26th, outside the Crevillent Town Hall, with the traditional raising of the rainbow flag on the council balcony followed by the reading of the institutional manifesto. Additionally, banners with the slogan “Whatever you are, Crevillent loves you” will be displayed in various locations from June 19th to 30th, and LGTB flags will be placed in the Town Hall Square between June 18th and 22nd.
“"Pride is a celebration of diversity, but also an opportunity to continue building a society free from discrimination. We invite all citizens to join this program and demonstrate that Crevillent is a municipality committed to equality, respect, and coexistence."
The organization emphasizes the importance of continued work through education, culture, and awareness to combat LGTBIfobia and promote safe and inclusive spaces for everyone.
