The center seeks greater openness and better positioning in the pillars of entrepreneurship and innovation. To achieve this, joint work with ecosystem entities, both public and private, as well as with companies, is being promoted. The knowledge base and positioning inherited from the previous management provide a solid starting point for this new stage.
Growth levers are structured in two ways: the consolidation of current projects with entities such as Ivace, the General Directorate of Innovation, the Alicante Provincial Council, and the Elche City Council, and the generation of new national and European projects. The main focus remains on innovation, but aspects such as talent attraction, internationalization, rural entrepreneurship, and training, especially in vocational training, are also considered.
“"We especially want to promote projects linked to innovation, disruption, and technology. Everything that has to do with enabling technologies, helping people develop their businesses, or fostering an innovative and entrepreneurial culture is what we are looking for."
Innovation translates into concrete actions for SMEs and startups through three channels: personalized support with practical mentoring, training through programs such as the young innovative company program with the Alicante Provincial Council, and awareness-raising through events in various regions of the province in collaboration with Ivace. The objective is to make innovation tangible and not just theoretical.
CEEI Elche aims to attract projects linked to innovation, disruption, and technology, with continuous support for vocational training. Collaboration with large companies, such as the recently signed agreement with Aigües d'Elx, is considered fundamental for bringing ideas to market and making them a reality, creating a key balance between startups and large corporations.
Among the most repeated demands from entrepreneurs in Elche and the province are attracting investment, the need for funding, practical expert support, and networking opportunities. Additionally, digitalization and artificial intelligence are growing concerns and opportunities for businesses.
The upcoming EmprendeTech FP Demo Day will be held on April 29 at the Elche Congress Center, a key event to showcase emerging talent. In the province of Alicante, five centers and 211 students have participated in the program, generating 21 projects that will be defended before a jury. This program has had a very positive impact on vocational training students and teachers.
