This event, already consolidated in the local calendar, serves as a prelude to the eagerly awaited patron saint festivities of 2026. The celebration aims to remind residents and visitors that the town's major festivities are getting closer, while also fostering the preservation of traditions and the festive spirit.
The Los Montesinos Town Council, in collaboration with the Brotherhood of the Virgen del Pilar and the Parish, has designed a program for all audiences. The objective is to strengthen ties among neighbors and promote a day of coexistence marked by joy, devotion, and citizen participation.
The day will kick off at 11:00 AM with Holy Mass, followed at 12:00 PM by a charanga parade, which will fill the streets with music and a festive atmosphere from the square itself. Afterwards, at 12:30 PM, the public can enjoy a performance by DJ Titeja, while at 1:30 PM, bouncy castles will be set up for the enjoyment of the youngest attendees.
Additionally, throughout the day, a food and bar service will be available, as well as a dessert contest, adding a gastronomic and participatory touch to the celebration.
“"There's only half a year left until our 2026 patron saint festivities."
The organization encourages all citizens to join this event, which, beyond leisure, represents an opportunity to strengthen local identity and keep the municipality's cultural roots alive, inviting everyone to start the countdown with enthusiasm.
