A fire in a six-story building in Torrevieja affected three homes and forced the evacuation of all residents, with no injuries reported in the incident.

The incident occurred on Friday afternoon in a building located on Ramón Gallud street, in the town of Baix Segura. The fire started in a third-floor apartment, generating a large amount of smoke and flames that were visible from the balcony.
The Alicante Provincial Fire Consortium received the alert at 8:04 PM and deployed a large contingent. This included two heavy urban pumps, a ladder truck, a utility van, and a command unit.
The personnel dispatched, from the Torrevieja and Almoradí fire stations, consisted of an officer, a sub-officer, a sergeant, two corporals, and ten firefighters. Thanks to their swift action, the fire was extinguished around 10:00 PM.
Although the fire completely affected three homes, no personal injuries were reported. Emergency services will continue to assess the building's condition and investigate the cause of the blaze.
