As of this Tuesday, residents of Albatera will no longer need to travel to Dolores to file complaints or conduct other in-person procedures, thanks to the inauguration of a new Civil Guard citizen service office in the municipality.

The new facility, which aims to strengthen the proximity of public services, is located on the second floor of the 3 de Abril municipal building, in Plaza San Jaime. It will be staffed by agents from the Dolores Main Post and will operate from Monday to Friday during working hours, from 8:00 to 14:00, serving a population of approximately 14,000 inhabitants.
The launch of this office coincided with an institutional visit led by the sub-delegate of the Government in Alicante, Manuel Pineda, accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Antonio Darder, Captain Antonio Cava, and council members from the Albatera City Council.

"The opening of this office represents an important step forward for Albatera, because it brings the Civil Guard and the General State Administration closer to the residents. This facilitates procedures that until now required traveling to another municipality."

Pineda also emphasized that the Government of Spain continues to work to guarantee more accessible and useful public services, especially in municipalities where these improvements have a direct impact on citizens' daily lives. This initiative, with facilities provided by the Albatera City Council, represents a step forward in improving citizen attention and strengthening security and institutional proximity in the locality.
