Various social entities, unions, and political organizations from Baix Maestrat have called a unified anti-war demonstration to take place this coming Friday, April 17, in Vinaròs.

The mobilization will begin at seven in the evening from Plaça Parroquial in Vinaròs. This initiative arises in an international context marked by the escalation of armed conflicts, the violation of human rights, and the increase in violence, which is endangering the lives and dignity of millions of people worldwide, as explained by the organizers.
Given this situation, the convening entities consider it essential to promote a collective response from the territory. The objective is to unite citizens and the social, union, and political fabric in defense of peace, justice, and human rights.

Baix Maestrat says no to war

Under the slogan 'El Baix Maestrat says no to war', the demonstration aims to be a unified space open to all citizens to express outright rejection of any armed conflict. It also seeks to show solidarity with the victims and demand that the European Union and the Spanish government adopt effective measures to defend international legality, United Nations resolutions, and compliance with resolutions and measures issued by the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court.
The promoting organizations call for massive participation from citizens, as well as the involvement of entities and groups from across the region, with the aim of building a broad, plural, and forceful response.
