Driven by the Department of Tourism, the event will bring together a maximum of 10 restaurants from the town, selected through an open public call until May 11. Each establishment must present a proposal consisting of five tapas, two of which will feature Vinaròs prawns as the main ingredient, while the other three will be of free creation and linked to local gastronomy.
During the weekend, restaurants will offer their prawn dishes from modular stands set up for the occasion, in morning and evening hours, with prices ranging from 4 to 12 euros. The proceeds will go entirely to the participants, reinforcing the dynamic nature of the initiative for the hospitality sector.
“"With this new proposal, the council seeks not only to attract visitors, but also to highlight the work of local restaurateurs and producers, promoting local consumption and generating new economic and tourist promotion opportunities for the city."
The event will also feature the participation of eight artisanal producers and elaborators, who will have their own spaces for the sale of food products, wines, and spirits. The organization will prioritize those from Vinaròs, the Baix Maestrat region, and nearby territories, as well as those with quality certifications.
