The town of La Pobla de Benifassà will see the completion of the CV-105 road improvement in the coming weeks, a project funded by the Diputación de Castellón with 605,000 euros, which has allowed for the widening of the roadway and enhanced road safety.

This initiative, which has significantly improved traffic safety, has been well-received by local residents. Mayor David Gil highlighted that the benefits will also extend to the inhabitants of Ballestar, a smaller entity with which they share management and a lush natural landscape.

"The winding nature of the road and the absence of shoulders created dangers that we are gradually overcoming with this investment."

David Gil · Mayor of La Pobla de Benifassà
The works have focused on the section between kilometer points 5+885 and 7+190 within the municipal area of La Pobla de Benifassà. According to the mayor, improved communications not only benefit residents but also drive the development of municipalities, as these connections become "avenues of opportunity".
David Gil expressed his gratitude to the president of the Diputación, Marta Barrachina, for her "new sensitivity" and ability to find solutions to the problems of small towns. He emphasized that, despite any potential inconveniences during the construction, the benefits will be immediate and crucial for localities with limited resources.
