The Xeraco City Council has announced it will appeal the ruling by the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community (TSJCV) that supports the installation of a gas station on Jaume I street.

The decision by the Xeraco council comes after the judiciary declared the construction of a new service station viable in an area that already has a nearby supermarket. The City Council believes the ruling could have negative implications for the municipality and has therefore decided to take the case to higher courts.
This legal appeal is part of Xeraco's strategy for defending its biodiversity and combating the climate emergency, as outlined in the Special Plan for the Green Belt and other Green Infrastructures that the municipality is promoting.
