Young table tennis players Pau Beneyto and Hugo Abellán, representing Corriol Oliva Tenis Taula, delivered an outstanding performance at the Spanish School Championship of Autonomous Teams (CESA) held in Antequera last weekend.

In the male children's category, Pau Beneyto, alongside his teammates Ricard Ribelles and Abel Marco, helped the Valencian Community qualify among the top eight national table tennis teams.
Individually, Beneyto reached the round of sixteen in his first participation in this tournament, placing him among the top sixteen players. This result solidifies the excellent season the Oliva player is having.
Meanwhile, his clubmate, Hugo Abellán, demonstrated an exceptional level. Together with Hugo Caparrós and Valèria Contreras, he also led the Valencian Community's inclusive team to the top 8 in Spain.
In his individual participation, Abellán was on the verge of entering the final draw of the tournament, after a brilliant group stage and preliminary knockout rounds, an even greater achievement considering he competed in a category above his age.
