The Units pel Bàsquet Gandia club has concluded a satisfactory season in the Segunda FEB, meeting its set objectives and ensuring the continuity of its main sponsor and coach for the upcoming season.

The management of the sports entity from La Safor has positively assessed the campaign of the first team, Proinbeni, in the Segunda FEB League. Although the team was eliminated in the round of 16 of the promotion playoff to Primera FEB, the main objective of the season, which was not promotion but to go far in the competition, has been successfully met.

"We would have liked to win to continue in competition, of course, but it was not possible, and we must be satisfied because the objective has been met. The goal was not to go up, but to reach, at least, where we have."

The management has confirmed the continuity of the main sponsor, Proinbeni, thanking their willingness. Likewise, the coach, Alejandro Mesa, has a contract for one more season, being the only member of the technical team and squad with his continuity secured. Negotiations with the rest of the players and coaching staff will take place in the coming days.
Despite unforeseen problems external to the entity during the season, the management considers it has been a good year. The club will soon begin planning for the next campaign, highlighting the need for more economic support, especially from public institutions, to be able to compete under better conditions.
The youth academy has also played a prominent role, with the promotion of the Senior B and the women's team, among other good results. Finally, the management has called on fans to surpass last year's figure of 500 members and reach 600 in the next season, recalling the magical atmosphere experienced in the last home game.
