The Tavernes de la Valldigna City Council recently hosted the quarterly coordination meeting on gender violence for the judicial district, aiming to improve the response to victims.

The meeting brought together representatives from various municipalities, security forces, and specialized service professionals. The main objective was to strengthen coordination among all institutions and professionals involved in the prevention, detection, and care of gender violence victims.

During the session, issues related to case management were addressed, experiences and best practices were shared, and questions were resolved to coordinate action protocols. The aim is to provide more agile, efficient, and adapted responses to the needs of victims.
Participants agreed on the importance of continuing to advance in improving protection mechanisms, as well as the need to strengthen prevention and social awareness. Although the different agents maintain daily contact, these quarterly meetings are essential for consolidating common lines of action and reinforcing inter-institutional cooperation.
The Tavernes City Council reiterated its commitment to victims and its willingness to continue strengthening all resources in the fight against gender violence, to move towards a safer society free from violence.
