Six Medals for Safor Teika at the Autonomous Masters Championship

Three golds, two silvers, and one bronze for the club's master athletes at the competition held in Valencia.

The Safor Teika Athletics Club secured six medals, three gold, two silver, and one bronze, at the Autonomous Individual Outdoor Masters Championship held last Saturday in Valencia, on the Turia river track.

Three athletes from the club stood out, each earning two medals. Genaro Rey became autonomous champion in hammer throw (35.44 m) and heavy hammer (14.92 m) in the M65 category. Andreu Morant achieved silver in discus (27.18 m) and bronze in shot put, with 8.31 m. Meanwhile, Marcos Tajadura won gold in shot put (6.40 m) and silver in pole vault (2.35 m) in the M40 category.
Juan Antonio Martos also competed, participating in the 400-meter hurdles. Genaro Rey has already met the minimum requirement to compete in the Spanish Individual Outdoor Masters Championship, which will take place at the Vallehermoso stadium in Madrid from June 26th to 28th.
