Nearly 2,000 teenagers from various educational centers in the Valencian Community, Catalonia, and the Balearic Islands have premiered the musical Intergalàctica in Gandia, as part of the Com Sona l'ESO project.
This new edition of the Com Sona l'ESO project aims to foster reflection on individualism in today's world. The performance, which has been rehearsed in numerous Valencian institutes since last October, allows teenagers to showcase the work done throughout the year.
“
"It is an educational project that highlights the value of music and artistic education."
A total of 83 centers have participated this year in this initiative, which offers young people the opportunity to perform live music on stage. The objective is to bring out of the classroom all the work carried out by teachers and students.
According to the organization, Com Sona l'ESO was born in the year 2000 thanks to the enthusiasm of Valencian music teachers who teach in the País Valencià, Catalonia, and the Balearic Islands. This project seeks to showcase the potential of students, regardless of their social, cultural, or academic level, through music, a subject often underestimated.
“
"The project's teachers aim, through the gathering, for the didactic proposals and projects carried out in the classroom to have continuity and thus be made known and serve as a source of inspiration for future proposals."
