The Palma de Gandia City Council has announced the addition of a new caretaker to the municipal sports center, strengthening the service and maintenance of the facilities following several improvement actions.

In recent weeks, the council has carried out various actions to improve the municipal sports center, designed for both athletes and attendees. These improvements aim to optimize user experience and ensure the proper functioning of the space.
Among the highlighted actions is the renewal of informational signage, replacing the previous deteriorated ones. The floor of the municipal pavilion has also been renovated, and a new robot vacuum cleaner and floor scrubber have been acquired to maintain the cleanliness of the facilities.
Furthermore, general maintenance tasks have been performed on painting, plumbing, and carpentry. Joints and windows of the pavilion have been reviewed and improved for better waterproofing, and various elements of the diesel boiler have been checked and replaced to ensure its correct operation.
In terms of safety, new protection systems have been installed on the most dangerous elements of the football field, especially in the dugouts. Additionally, in the coming weeks, the goal protection nets, which fell during past wind gusts and have already been managed through insurance, will be reinstalled.
