The Hall of Crowns at the Palau Ducal dels Borja hosted yesterday the request for Lidia Marín Marzal to become Fallera Mayor of Gandia 2027. The fallera, from the Falla Sagrada Família-Corea commission, responded with a "resounding" yes to the proposal.
The mayor of Gandia, José Manuel Prieto Part, positively assessed Marín's involvement with the festival since childhood, thanks to her family, and expressed his confidence that she will be an excellent representative during her reign.
Subsequently, the mayor directly asked Lídia Marín if she accepted the position, to which the fallera responded affirmatively.
The event was attended by the Councilor for Fallas, Adrià Vila; representatives of the municipal corporation, and all the fallas commissions of Gandia, led by their president, Francisco Martínez.
