La Nostra Copa Final Between UE Tavernes and CD Onda Now Has Date and Venue

The Valencian Community Football Federation has confirmed that the match will be played on Thursday, April 30, at 8 PM, at the Nou Pla Stadium in Villajoyosa.

The Valencian Community Football Federation has confirmed that the final of the fifth edition of La Nostra Copa will be held on Thursday, April 30, at 8 PM, at the Nou Pla Stadium in Villajoyosa, featuring UE Tavernes de la Valldigna and CD Onda.

Both teams, competing in the North group of the Lliga Comunitat, will vie for the trophy and the prize of qualifying for the next edition of the Copa de S.M. El Rey. This will be the third encounter between the two sides this season.
However, the date, time, and venue for the match have not been well-received by either club. UE Tavernes believes that Saturday, May 2, at 6 PM, would have been ideal to facilitate a massive fan turnout. Meanwhile, CD Onda faces a challenging 460-kilometer round trip for the game.
In their two previous clashes this season, the team from Valldigna emerged victorious, with a 3-0 win at home and a 0-1 victory in the Castellón town. In the meantime, UE Tavernes is approaching the final three league matches with their promotion playoff spot already secured.
The "rogets" will play this Sunday at 12 PM in Requena against an opponent currently in 14th position with 28 points. This match is considered a "trap game" for "Tomaca's" team, as their adversary is fighting for survival. The coach plans to make changes to the lineup compared to Wednesday's match in Novelda, aiming to maintain their fight for second place in the standings.
