The Gandia City Council hosted the CF Gandia women's cadet team last Friday to congratulate them on their successful season.

The Mayor of Gandia, José Manuel Prieto, along with the Councilor for Sports, Jesús Naveiro, received the women's cadet team of CF Gandia last Friday in the town hall's plenary hall. This team has achieved a remarkable feat this year, winning all 24 league matches played.
Throughout the season, the young athletes scored a total of 118 goals while conceding only 6. These impressive statistics have led to their promotion to a higher category, an achievement celebrated by the municipal corporation.
The Mayor took the opportunity to congratulate the team members and coaching staff. Prieto emphasized the importance of promoting sports values, such as effort and camaraderie, and highlighted the pride in representing Gandia wherever they competed.
