The city of Gandia will transform its historic center into a large open cultural stage this weekend, April 25 and 26, with the celebration of ‘La Primavera de les Arts’, an initiative focused on performing arts and contemporary circus.

This proposal, promoted by the Culture department, aims to bring dance, street theater, and circus to emblematic public spaces such as Plaça Major, Plaça de la Vila, and Plaça de l’Escola Pia. The objective is to bring these disciplines closer to both citizens and visitors, offering an accessible and diverse cultural experience.
During the day on Saturday, April 25, Plaça Major and Plaça de la Vila will host performances by companies specializing in contemporary circus and performing arts. The program includes immersive installations, acrobatic acts, contemporary dance, and clown performances, with a focus designed for family and general audiences.
On Sunday, April 26, the program will move to Plaça de l’Escola Pia with the activity ‘La Primavera que dansa’. This joint exhibition will feature local dance academies such as Dance Room, Escola Taller de Dansa Sonsoles Borja, Escola de Dansa Rapsòdia, and Power Dance Studio. The initiative is part of the commemoration of International Dance Day, scheduled for April 29.

"We reaffirm our commitment to culture as a driving force for social and tourist revitalization, offering accessible, diverse, and quality programming in an urban environment open to participation."
