The city of Gandia is preparing for the second edition of the Intercultural Carnival Festival, an event that will fill the streets with music, dance, and color this Saturday, April 25, organized by the Bolivian Youth Association.

This event, returning after its first edition in 2019, will feature the participation of over 22 groups from various South American countries. These groups will showcase traditional dances, typical attire, and diverse cultural expressions, highlighting the cultural richness of these communities and their contribution to the city's social life.
The festive day will begin with a gathering at 4:00 PM in the Plaza del Tirant. The procession is scheduled to start at 5:00 PM, passing along the Paseo de las Germanías and Avenida República Argentina, before concluding in the Plaza Elíptica, where the festive performances will continue.

"We want the carnival to consolidate as an annual event. It is important to showcase the traditions, customs, attire, and gastronomy of Bolivia and other participating countries such as Ecuador, Colombia, or Honduras."

the president of the Bolivian Youth Association

"It is a meeting place for fraternities and migrant communities, with significant institutional support and a festive and cultural character. More than 26 fraternities participate, and an atmosphere of joy and folklore will be experienced."
