Gandia's Tourism Councilor, Balbina Sendra, presented the past six months' report, emphasizing increased tourism promotion, destination quality, and new features for the 'Gandia a la Mar' summer program.

The city of Gandia has reported positive results for the past six months in tourism, showing significant growth in promotion and service quality. Tourism Councilor Balbina Sendra highlighted the adhesion of 167 businesses to the Integral System of Tourist Quality in Destinations (SICTED), making Gandia the second-largest destination in the Valencian Community for certified companies. Additionally, the third edition of the summer program 'Gandia a la Mar' was unveiled, aiming to strengthen local identity and social sustainability.
During the Tourism Board meeting, results from over twenty national and international promotional actions were analyzed, including participation in fairs in cities such as Madrid, London, and Berlin. Visit Gandia's digital communication has seen record growth, with nearly 12 million social media views, doubling the previous year's figures. The municipal newsletter has also expanded, surpassing 12,000 subscribers.
Gandia's Convention Bureau has been instrumental in attracting over twenty events, leading to the arrival of 15,000 direct participants. The 'Gandia a la Mar' program emphasizes social sustainability, involving local entities like Fallas, Semana Santa, and Muixeranga, and introducing new cultural and musical activities such as 'Nits del Baladre' at Jardí del Baladre.
As a new feature, the City Council will publish an interactive summer guide with maps and QR codes for satisfaction surveys and personalized agenda creation. The goal is to enhance the visitor experience and showcase Gandia's year-round cultural, heritage, and natural offerings.
