The Gandia City Council has carried out new asphalting works on 14 streets, avenues, and squares, with an investment exceeding 88,900 euros, to enhance accessibility and road safety in the city and Grau.

These works are part of the Squares and Streets Humanization Plan, which aims to facilitate mobility and strengthen road safety, addressing residents' requests from various neighborhoods in Gandia.
Over the past two months, maintenance, repair, and conservation tasks have been carried out, including the asphalting of sections of Villalonga Avenue and Port Avenue. Additionally, two plots of land, one behind the DIA supermarket in Benipeixcar and another next to Fort Llopis, have been adapted to create over 60 new parking spaces.
Municipal representatives from the involved neighborhoods have visited the works to observe firsthand the progress of these actions, which contribute to the urban improvement of the municipality.
