The city of Gandia will be filled with music, dance, and color next Saturday, April 25, with the celebration of the II Intercultural Carnival Festival, featuring over 20 South American groups.

The event, organized by the Bolivian Youth Association in collaboration with the Gandia City Council, aims to highlight the cultural richness of the Bolivian community and other South American collectives present in the city.
A councilor for Cooperation and Integration presented the event, emphasizing its inclusive nature and its contribution to cultural coexistence. She highlighted that this is the second edition of this intercultural gathering, revived after its first celebration in 2019.
The festival will feature the participation of more than 22 groups from various South American countries, showcasing the diversity of traditional dances, costumes, and cultural expressions unique to each region. This variety makes the event a living display of the cultural richness and contribution of these communities to local society.
The parade will begin at 5:00 PM, with participants gathering from 4:00 PM in the Plaça del Tirant. The route will continue along the Passeig de les Germanies, Avinguda República Argentina, and conclude in the Plaça El·líptica, where the celebration will continue with various performances.

"It is important to showcase the traditions, customs, attire, and gastronomy of Bolivia and other participating countries such as Ecuador, Colombia, or Honduras."

the president of the Bolivian Youth Association
The City Council has emphasized its commitment to initiatives that foster integration, coexistence, and respect among cultures, viewing diversity as a strength of the city. An open invitation has been extended to all citizens to participate and enjoy a festive day that promises to fill the streets of Gandia with atmosphere.
