The event, already consolidated in the local sports calendar, will take place in a double session: from 10:00 to 13:00 in the morning and from 17:00 to 19:00 in the afternoon. The presentation was attended by Jesús Naveiro, Sports Councilor, and Pilar Martí, president of the Club Natació i Esports Gandia, who highlighted the trophy's role in sports training and promoting children's swimming.
The event is aimed at pre-benjamin, benjamin, and alevín categories, with ages ranging from 7 to 14 years. Athletes from a dozen clubs across the Valencian Community will participate, coming from the provinces of Valencia, Alicante, and Castellón. Participating clubs include Xúquer, Sueca, Xàtiva, València Màster Sedaví, Trencaones d’Alzira, Elda, Caxton College, Lucentum d’Alacant, Oliva, and the organizing club itself.
Throughout the day, various stroke events such as butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle, and relays in different categories will be held. The organization will award prizes to the top three finishers in each individual and team event, as well as trophies to the clubs with the highest overall score.
As a novelty, the pre-club of Natació i Esports Gandia, composed of children aged 5 and 6, will perform a 25-meter exhibition before the competition begins. The aim is to introduce the youngest participants to competitive swimming. The organization emphasized the formative and participatory nature of the event, focused not only on competition but also on transmitting sports values and fostering local talent.
