The city of Gandia will host the tenth edition of the Gran Fondo ALE Cycling this Saturday, April 18, with the participation of nearly 500 cyclists covering 132 kilometers.

The Sports Councilor, Jesús Naveiro, highlighted the importance of this sporting event in the local calendar. The race, organized by the Escapada Cycling Club together with the Gandia City Council, will begin its route at 8:00 AM from Paseo Marítimo Neptuno, near the Hotel Sant Lluís, on Gandia beach.
Naveiro explained that the 132-kilometer route includes four mountain passes and a maximum altitude of 1,800 meters. Participants will pass through towns such as Villalonga, la Llacuna, l'Orxa, Beniarrés, Castelló de Rugat, and Benigànim, crossing the Pla de Corrals before descending towards Tavernes de la Valldigna and returning to the starting point at Paseo Marítimo Neptuno.

"It is a benchmark event that consolidates Gandia as a top-level sports destination and invites all cycling enthusiasts to enjoy a spectacular route between the sea and the mountains."
