The Gandia City Council, with members of the municipal corporation present, received students and teachers from the CEIP Maternidad (Tomelloso), CEIP El Peral (Valladolid), and CEIP Sant Francesc de Borja centers last week in the plenary hall.
This visit is part of a national program promoted by the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports. Its main objective is to foster educational innovation, sustainability, and inclusion through exchange and mobility among school centers from different autonomous communities.
During the meeting, Mayor José Manuel Prieto welcomed the participating delegations. He highlighted the value of the educational project, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between centers, networking, and the involvement of teachers and students in initiatives that promote coexistence, creativity, and shared learning.
For his part, the director of the CEIP Sant Francesc de Borja, Carlos Fabra, emphasized the formative nature of the experience. He highlighted Gandia as an open learning space and a cultural meeting point, as well as the positive impact of the project on student motivation and cooperation among educational centers.
The day facilitated the exchange of experiences among educational communities, consolidating links between centers and reinforcing the commitment to an education based on collaboration, inclusion, and innovation.
