The city of Gandia hosted the third edition of the educational project 'Som Música', which brought together 14 educational centers in a vibrant collective performance in Sant Josep square.

Hundreds of children, accompanied by their teachers, performed an active musical act. The pieces, inspired by modern African rhythms, utilized everyday instruments and objects, creating a participatory spectacle open to all citizens.
This project, promoted by the Department of Education, aims to integrate music into the educational process. It seeks to foster creativity, teamwork, and emotional expression among students, combining teacher training with classroom practice.

"This initiative strengthens the role of education as a driver of social cohesion and champions innovative, inclusive, and participatory methodologies."

the Education Councilor
The Education Councilor highly praised the activity's outcome and thanked the involvement of the entire educational community, including students, teachers, and families. She also highlighted the collaboration of the About de Beat collective, responsible for the project's design and development.
