The facilities at Roís de Corella and Beniopa will open their doors starting Friday, June 19. They will offer both free swimming and aquagym classes. During June, the hours will be in the afternoon (4:30 PM to 8:00 PM) from Monday to Friday, and on weekends, this will be extended with morning (11:00 AM to 2:30 PM) and afternoon hours.
These hours will be maintained throughout July and August, when the pools will be operational every day of the week, including weekends, with morning (11:00 AM to 2:30 PM) and afternoon (4:30 PM to 8:00 PM) opening times.
The Councilor for Sports, Jesús Naveiro, has informed about a specific protocol for potential heatwaves. This plan will allow, if necessary, the extension of opening hours until 10:00 PM, thus providing cooling spaces for citizens during extreme temperature episodes.
Naveiro highlighted that the launch of these pools represents a healthy leisure alternative and a resource for the population's well-being during the summer, adding to the offerings at the sports center and the Grau Sports Center.
