The Popular Party of Gandia has expressed its satisfaction with the investments planned by the Consell in the Valencian Generalitat's Budgets, totaling more than 5 million euros. According to the Populars, these funds will boost key projects for the city's development, such as the Gandia Arena, the CV-60, the Vía Verde del Serpis, and the restoration of the Colegiata bell tower.
Víctor Soler, president of the PP of Gandia and first secretary of Les Corts Valencianes, celebrated the inclusion of these funds, which include 2.2 million for the Gandia Arena, 1.9 million for the CV-60, and 150,000 euros for the Colegiata bell tower. Soler emphasized that these investments demonstrate "a clear sign of the Consell's commitment to promoting strategic projects for its development" and the importance of collaboration between administrations.
Soler criticized the stance of the socialist government of Gandia, lamenting the "lack of collaboration" from mayor José Manuel Prieto with the Popular Party's Consell. He recalled Prieto's previous statements about the Generalitat and called for a mayor "who works for all Gandia residents above political affiliations," suggesting that Prieto "prefers to obey Diana Morant rather than collaborate for Gandia to advance."
The leader of the Populars highlighted that these investments "are not isolated actions, but rather part of a broader strategy of support for Gandia by the Valencian Generalitat," amounting to 5 million euros in the budget. Soler concluded by stating that "the PP Consell fulfills its promises and bets on Gandia," recalling that 19 million euros were allocated last year.
