A total of 15 athletes from CA Safor Teika participated in the competition, representing their respective universities. The event, which took place last Saturday, was fruitful for the Gandia club, as two of its sportswomen reached the podium.
Laura Castillo, competing for the Universitat de València, won the silver medal in the 200-meter dash, with a time of 23.98 seconds. Meanwhile, Camila Estrebou, also from the Universitat de València, achieved another silver with the mixed 4x100 relay team, recording a time of 43.86. Estrebou also participated individually in the 100-meter dash.
Other club athletes also had a notable participation in the championship. Among them, Ximo Ramón (UPV) finished fourth in javelin, and Carla Breco (UV) secured fourth place in the 10,000-meter dash. María Muñoz (Universidad de Granada) was sixth in the 5 km race walk, demonstrating the high level of CA Safor Teika representatives across various disciplines.
The remaining club participants included Camilla Pagani (Universidad Europea de València, 400m), Neus Sansaloni (Católica de València, 800m), Candela de Ana (UPV, 800m), Silvia García-Gasulla (UPV, pole vault), Emma Almenar (UV, 5km race walk), Iván Casco (UJI, 5km race walk), Lucía Gramage (UJI, 200m), Stella Ortín (UA, 3,000m steeplechase), María Huertas (UJI, triple jump), and Arturo Climent (Politécnica de Cartagena, hammer throw).
