CV el Real de Gandia Shines in Valencian Community Volleyball Finals in Elx

CV el Real de Gandia completed a demanding weekend in Elx, where its youth teams participated in regional competitions, with the U12 women's team's performance standing out.

The Saforwifi CVRDG U12 team, coached by Alba Olivares, delivered a remarkable performance in the Regional Final. In this competition, which brought together the 16 best teams from the Valencian Community, the 'realeras' convincingly defeated Grau de Castelló in their debut. After a loss to Carmelites Elx, they secured their passage to the quarterfinals by overcoming CV Arenas.
In the quarterfinal match, the players showed great skill against CV Crevillent. It was a very close encounter that was decided in the third set with a 2-1 score. Although the Safor team initially dominated the tie-break, the opponent's comeback ultimately decided the match. Despite the defeat, the team concludes the competition among the top eight teams in the Valencian Community, a result of significant competitive value.
Meanwhile, the Saforwifi CVRDG U10 team, coached by Camila Pasquale, played in the qualifying round for the Spanish Championship. They faced high-level opponents and, in the midst of their development process, competed with good spirits, achieving a victory against Conqueridor València. This day was marked by learning and competitive experience for the young players.
The weekend was rounded off with a victory for the Sklum CVRDG Black cadet team, led by Alba Anaya. This team defeated CV Gandia C 3-2 in a postponed match, thus reinforcing the team's progress in the final stretch of the season.
