Athletes from the Club de Córrer el Garbí and the Garbí Throws Academy from Gandia are participating in a one-week concentration at the High Performance Center of León to finalize their preparation for the outdoor athletics season.

The athletes are training under the guidance of coaches Juanvi Escolano and Ainhoa Martínez. This training camp's main objective is to perfect the throwers' preparation before the start of the outdoor season.
Among the group of athletes present in León are young talents from the Club de Córrer el Garbí such as Hugo Martí, as well as established national elite figures like Judits Prats and Gema Martí.
Also noteworthy is the presence of Belén Toimil, Spanish champion, European medalist, and national and international record holder with the Spanish national team. Additionally, the club's international Paralympic athletes, Héctor Cabrera and Kim López, have also been part of this concentration.
The High Performance Center of León, inaugurated in August 2010, is specifically designed for athletics, with a special focus on throwing events. It depends on the Superior Sports Council and is one of the three high-performance centers of the CSD in Spain, along with the CAR Madrid and the CAR Sierra Nevada.
