The event, organized by the Vicky Foods Foundation in collaboration with the Gandia City Council, offers a unique opportunity to get to know firsthand the testimony of a woman who has turned her career into an example of perseverance, overcoming challenges, and leadership.
The Councilor for Citizen Participation, Liduvina Gil, highlighted the importance of the collaboration with Vicky Foods, a leading company in the region. Gil particularly thanked Mariola Juan Fernández, councilor of the Vicky Foods Group, for choosing Gandia as the venue for this book presentation. "I am convinced that attendees will enjoy a very special afternoon, full of emotions, learning, and reflections from an extraordinary communicator," stated the councilor.
For her part, Mariola Juan Fernández thanked the Gandia City Council for its involvement. She recalled that the Vicky Foods Foundation had previously featured Bisila Bokoko in an activity in Villalonga, which motivated them to expand the initiative to Gandia. Juan Fernández described Bokoko's presence as a "luxury," defining her as one of the most prominent international voices in leadership and personal empowerment.
The author, a Valencian of Guinean origin, was the executive director of the Spain-United States Chamber of Commerce in New York and is currently the founder and CEO of an international business development company, also promoting numerous educational projects in Africa.
In "El miedo y yo", Bisila Bokoko shares her life experience and offers a deep reflection on how to turn fear into an opportunity for personal and professional growth. The work combines personal experiences, reflections, and practical tools to face life's challenges with confidence and determination.
“"I am convinced that attendees will enjoy a very special afternoon, full of emotions, learning, and reflections from an extraordinary communicator."
