Chef Amadeo Gandia Billar Club Triumphs at Montcada City Open

Ausiàs Fuster crowned champion and Jose Luis Pascual runner-up in a provincial competition with 66 participants.

The Chef Amadeo Gandia Billar Club excelled at the II Open Ciutat de Montcada, a provincial 3-cushion billiards event, where Ausiàs Fuster claimed the title and Jose Luis Pascual secured the runner-up position.

The competition, part of the Valencian 3-cushion billiards ranking, brought together 66 participants from the provinces of Valencia and Castellón. Five players from the Gandia club took part, securing the top two spots.
Ausiàs Fuster displayed an excellent performance, improving steadily throughout the tournament to reach the final. There, he faced Jose Luis Pascual, defeating him 40 to 30 in 29 innings. This result gave him an average of 1.379 in the final and an overall tournament average of 1.060, showcasing his high skill level.
Meanwhile, Jose Luis Pascual, considered one of the favorites, secured the runner-up position. The player from Villalonga achieved an overall average of 1.111, establishing himself as one of the best Valencian players currently. Another club member, Xavi Pascual, finished in sixth place with an average of 0.715, after facing his father in the quarterfinals.
Thanks to these results, Jose Luis Pascual, Ausiàs Fuster, Francisco Estruch, and Xavi Pascual have qualified for the Absolute Autonomic Championship, a competition reserved for the top 16 players in the ranking. The club's next important event will be the National Honor Division League on Saturday, April 25, against CB Castalla, a crucial match for the Gandia club's league aspirations.
