This resolution, issued by the General Directorate of Tourism, represents a significant step forward in Bellreguard's tourism development strategy. The application was submitted by the Bellreguard City Council on January 19, 2026, aiming to certify the municipality's dedication to tourism based on service quality, sustainability, and visitor care.
The recognition is awarded to municipalities that demonstrate a continuous effort to offer a structured, sustainable tourism proposal aligned with the principles of the Valencian Tourism Ethical Code. This practice contributes to balanced and respectful development of the territory, as established by Decree 5/2020, of January 10, of the Consell.
