The Rosa dels Vents park in Corbera will host the 11th Corbera Blues Festival from June 26-28, featuring twelve free concerts with international and national blues artists.

The 11th Corbera Blues Festival is all set to take place from June 26-28. The event, true to its mission of promoting blues music, will bring together musicians selected for their artistic quality and commitment to the genre.
The lineup is headlined by the Chicago Summer Tour, closing the first night on Friday, June 26. This ensemble, uniting three Chicago blues stalwarts, is led by young guitarist Stephen Hull with his Trio Experience band, alongside singer Sheryl Youngblood and pianist Johnny Iguana.
Saturday night, June 27, will feature the Riccardo Grosso Band, known for their raw blues and powerful harmonica. Earlier, guitarist and harmonica player Richard Ray Farrell will present a new project with notable musicians including drummer Julian Vaughn, bassist Kris Jefferson, and pianist Álvaro Gandul.
The smaller stage at Rosa dels Vents park will host solo performances. Richard Ray Farrell will offer a recital rooted in American rural blues, while British guitarist Dave Thomas will present an acoustic concert focusing on the blues that influenced 1960s Britain.
Also performing is Richard ‘White Boy’ White, who will combine his pure performance style with the vocal delicacy of French artist Noémie Delavennat. The duo Mendoza & Garzinsky will complete the solo acts with their emotive style.
The Valencian representation includes The Ubangi Stomp, celebrating their tenth anniversary with a new album; Epi y Blues, blending blues with rock&roll, soul, and rhythm&blues; and Rom & The Obsolettes, performing electric blues inspired by genre giants.
Students from the Espai de Rock music school will showcase their talent, and the traditional jam session will allow active participation from professional and amateur musicians. Afterwards, a traditional Valencian paella will be served to all attendees.
Driven by the Corbera City Council over a decade ago, the festival attracts international visitors and generates significant economic impact for the town and the Ribera Baixa region. Artists such as Billy Branch, Vasti Jackson, and Tommy Castro have graced the festival in previous years.
