The Civil Guard has arrested a 35-year-old woman for an alleged theft, after she stole a wallet containing 400 euros and personal documents from a customer in a hospitality establishment in Alberic.

The incident occurred on March 15 at a bar in Alberic. The victim, a U.S. citizen, unknowingly dropped his wallet, which fell to the floor. A woman, noticing the situation, took advantage of the lapse in attention to approach from behind and steal the wallet.

Thanks to the collaboration of the Local Police of Alberic, images were obtained that allowed the woman's identity to be ascertained. Finally, a 35-year-old Spanish national woman was arrested for these events.
The investigation was carried out by agents from the Alberic Post of the Civil Guard, and the corresponding proceedings were handed over to the Dean's Office of the Alzira Courts.
