This fair, already a benchmark in the local and regional calendar, will transform the municipality into the capital of the Valencian tomato. The event aims to highlight the quality of the product, with collaboration from the COMAV Institute of the Universitat Politècnica de València and the Association of Producers and Marketers of Valencian Tomato.
As a new feature this year, a “tomato” lunch will be organized the week before the fair to involve local bars and hospitality establishments. These businesses will play a leading role in the preparation and promotion of the tomato, and will also participate in the II Tomato Tapas Route, which will take place the week after the fair.
During the three days of the fair, Rafelguaraf will offer a varied program for all audiences, including gastronomic spaces, cultural proposals, and live music. The objective is to strengthen the municipality's agricultural identity and boost the social and economic life of the town, giving visibility to the work of farmers and local products.
“"It is a commitment we are making to continue boosting the agricultural, hospitality, and commercial sectors in the municipality, generating social and economic structure in this III edition. Furthermore, each year we seek to improve and correct aspects to consolidate the Rafelguaraf Tomato Fair and continue to give it momentum."
The organization has called on farmers, businesses, hospitality establishments, SMEs, and all residents to join this collective initiative. With this third edition, Rafelguaraf reaffirms its commitment to promoting local products and territorial development, opting for a fair that combines tradition, quality, and citizen participation.
