After 23 days of mobilizations in defense of public education, FAMPA Castelló Penyagolosa wished to convey its "gratitude and solidarity to the entire educational community" at the demonstration held yesterday in Castelló. The manifesto was read by Suso Monforte, a member of the federation's board.
Monforte acknowledged the sacrifice of the teaching staff facing an indefinite strike, emphasizing that "vocation is not submission." He also thanked the "maturity" of the students and the effort of the AMPA/AFA families, stating that "your solidarity is the engine that keeps us alive in this fight."
Public education is not for sale, it is defended. […] Because a society that does not care for its education is a society without a future.
The speech concluded with a firm message of resistance, underscoring the importance of defending public education as a fundamental pillar for the future of society.
