Representatives of the PSPV have held several meetings with residents' associations to assess the state of municipal services. According to their report, there is widespread dissatisfaction with the scarce presence of the Local Police, as well as the lack of street cleaning and the deterioration of garden areas.
In the central district, residents have criticized the functionality of the new waste containers, noting that they lack information on collection schedules. Furthermore, they have expressed concern about the lack of control in certain premises and the accumulated dirt in public parking lots, such as the one in Clavé Square.
On the other hand, in the eastern district, requests focus on safety and traffic. Residents are requesting the replacement of palm trees in the section between Prim Street and Hermanos Bou Avenue, as well as a reorganization of traffic on Fernando el Católico Avenue to adapt it to the actual dimensions of the road.
“"Neighbors agree in denouncing that Castelló has neglected cleaning in the neighborhoods, while the municipal government remains more focused on propaganda than on solving the daily problems of the citizenry."
