The incidents occurred last Tuesday, June 5, on Carrascalet Avenue. Officers, while conducting routine surveillance, observed a parked vehicle with a broken window and an individual inside. This person, upon noticing the police presence, attempted to hide several objects allegedly stolen from the vehicle and three other nearby ones that also showed signs of forced entry.
Given this situation, the individual was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of an aggravated theft. After being brought before a judge, he was released. However, hours later, he allegedly re-offended, committing two similar crimes in a private enclosure, where he broke into two vehicles.
Thanks to citizen cooperation and images provided by security cameras, a new arrest was made. The detainee, who has numerous police records, has been arrested on several occasions in recent weeks, which is why constant monitoring is maintained as part of preventive and citizen security tasks.
