The City Council of Castelló is launching a circular bus service for the Marjaleria, operational from June 15 to September 13, to facilitate mobility during the summer.

The Marjaleria area of Castelló will have a circular bus service during the summer season, specifically from the upcoming June 15 to September 13. This initiative, promoted by the Department of Mobility, aims to improve mobility for residents and visitors in an area that experiences a notable increase in population during the summer months, reaching over 15,000 residents.
The new line will connect the Marjaleria with both the city center and the beaches, offering an efficient and safe alternative to private vehicles and facilitating daily travel. The Councilor for Mobility, Gonzalo Romero, highlighted the importance of ensuring "efficient, comfortable, and safe" mobility for those who reside in or visit the area during the summer.
Romero emphasized that "improving the quality of life for residents is a commitment of this government team," adding that well-planned mobility "is key to achieving it." According to the councilor, this line responds to a "real need" and represents a further step in improving public services in the Marjaleria.
The urban bus service will operate from Monday to Sunday, with a frequency of 40 minutes and operating hours from 8:00 AM to 9:20 PM. The route will include up to 30 stops, covering key points such as Camí la Plana, the area around Parque Meridiano, and the vicinity of the Aeroclub.
The detailed route includes stops at locations such as C/ Columbretes, Cno. La Plana (with references to restaurants and traverses), Cno. Río Seco (with references to streets like Almadrava and Sol de Riu), C. Vell del Serradal, and C. Mascarat near the Aeroclub Roundabout, thus covering a large area of the Marjaleria.
