The Alzira team secured nine championship titles, nine runner-up positions, and four bronze medals, demonstrating their high quality in this discipline that combines fighting techniques such as kickboxing and judo.
The fighters who reached the top of the podium were Ania Gomis, Liam Bajilis, José Antonio Martínez, Raúl Aguilarte, Leo Moreno, Alma Escudero, Kenai Tomas, Daniel Sanjuán, and Aitana Hernández.
Among the finalists were Thiago Aguilarte, Antonio Moreno, Pablo Cubero, Erik Núñez, Daniela García, Leire Peris, Leo Mocholí, Álex Sepúlveda, and Fabio Vives. Meanwhile, Migue Briz, Matias García, David Fayos, and Alan Peiró took home bronze medals.
The athletes' quality is such that, according to their coach and Spanish national team selector, Javi Sales, "we have fighters who come from Náquera or Bétera." This collective success allowed the Alzira team to win the Spanish team championship for the seventh consecutive time.
The club shows great future potential. One example is Alma Escudero, only 10 years old, who has already won six Spanish championships and two world championships, and this year competed in the 12-year-old category to find more suitable opponents.
